Grampians
National Park includes lookouts with stunning panoramic views as well as a number of
impressive waterfalls.
Earlier this year the park became victim to forest fires. Fortunately, this
area is submersed in the transitional stage and beginning to shed ash stained
bark and growing anew. Seeing the thousands of trees growing stronger was amazing
but nothing compared to the sight of the falls. The MacKenzie Falls is one of Victoria`s
largest and most spectacular waterfalls, reaching over 30 meters in height. Due to regular rainfall, the
waterfall is the only all-year-round flowing waterway in this entire region. The lower basin was a great area to take
pictures and take in the sights. It was so peaceful to just sit and enjoy. I
hope everyone enjoys the pictures and remember to check back next week for
more!
